Andy Hoggarth earned his Bachelor of Science degree in sports studies from Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England in 2003. He later earned his Master's Degree in education, with a focus in health and physical education, from Shenandoah University in 2010. He has also obtained his National Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, Premier Diploma, and English Football Association Prelim License from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Akron City FC has created a unique leadership model built for maximum success. The group consists of local business leaders and owners who have had success in the sports business world (combined 20+ years of experience) and soccer operations (over 50+ years of experience).

The organization also boasts owners and advisors with significant start-up experience in many business sectors, including media, restaurant/hospitality, insurance, sports, technology, financial services, real estate, and healthcare. The combination of business, soccer, and operations talent will ensure the club is run sustainably so that it remains a part of Akron for decades to come.
